How do I access and manage my VPS?

Sign in to Account Manager, open Services, and select the VPS to review its current status and details. Use the management tools shown for that service after provisioning is complete.

For a VPS ordered with HudsonPanel, use HudsonPanel for the available website and server-management tasks. For a self-managed VPS, use the server access details supplied after setup and connect with a secure administration method such as SSH.

• Use a unique, strong password and protect private keys.
• Install operating-system and application security updates.
• Allow only the network services you need.
• Keep tested backups outside the VPS.

Customer power controls are available only when the required VPS connection is configured. If a control or access detail is missing, open a Help Center ticket instead of repeatedly retrying it.
