Should I choose HudsonPanel or a self-managed VPS?

Choose HudsonPanel when you want an Ubuntu VPS with a control panel ready for everyday website and server management. HudsonPanel is included with the supported Ubuntu option.

Choose self managed when you want to administer the operating system and services yourself without a preinstalled panel. The current self-managed choices include Ubuntu and AlmaLinux.

A self-managed VPS is best for someone comfortable with server security, updates, networking, logs, and command-line work. If you mainly need to publish business websites, an Element website plan may be simpler. Review the current configuration and price in the cart before ordering.
